Character Eyez fills prescriptions with lenses from three of the world's leading lens makers: Varilux (the original progressive lens brand), Carl Zeiss, and Shamir. Every pair is measured, ordered, and fitted by a licensed optician.
Bring us your prescription. We don't perform eye exams on site — we're an independent optical boutique, not an optometry office. Get your prescription from any optometrist or ophthalmologist and we handle everything after that: precise facial and pupillary measurements, lens and coating selection for how you actually use your glasses, and final fitting and adjustment.
We fit single-vision, progressive, and polarized prescription lenses, including prescription sunglasses for performance brands like Maui Jim, Kaenon, and Rudy Project. In most cases we can also fit new lenses into frames you already own — including vintage frames — a service customers mention again and again in reviews.
